Eastgate Reason For Retirement Gambling Addiction

Peter Eastgate was just 22 when he managed to attain the peak of the success in the poker game before his career was really started.

Poker Ambitions Of Tribe In Limbo

Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel has been ordered by the federal judge to close the operation of its online bingo platform.


The tribe launched this gaming platform to check the response of people in it before launching the poker game online. The decision has been taken a few days before.

California Judge, U.S. Southern District Anthony Battaglia said in this judgment that tribe’s bingo online game platform, violates the Enforcement act 2006 Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement. The platform was launched by the tribe in the year 2014. The state of California is also ordered to close the operation of the Desert Bingo gambling website. The state was trying for the legalization of online poker.

The UIGEA has also put the restriction of online gambling sites for the processing of payment. According to the California, the reason why the tribe online Bingo game site has been asked to close is, because the platform was offering gambling online to the people who are not allowed to play games of gambling. Gay Jason Somerville gets support from Poker community

Jason Somerville in his four-year Poker career has been very consistent in his form on tour thus has registered winnings worth $2.5 million in live tournaments. He h as also earned   online cashes worth $1.5 million during this period.

In the early days he had many close encounters without winning anything substantial. His best time came in the 2011 season where he won his first WSOP bracelet. The next year it became more amazing and achieved solid poker wins, but the 25-year old poker player’s success could be attributed more to the time away from the table than on it.

He quipped “the year has been different for me. The first six months were spent m ore on concentrating on my personal life than travelling and playing. “It was necessary because I had to focus on my personal life too so that I find happiness”.

Here you must know that the Long Island, NY resident is pointing towards the blog post in February where he opened up to the rest of the poker community. He was not sure of positive reactions from his peers when they know about his homosexuality leanings, but it came as a surprise when the community members accepted him back without any conditions.

Somerville said, “It was an overwhelming support from the poker community,” and continued excitingly that he did not encounter any negative vibes from the people whatsoever. Unlike the conventional poker era when only the top-notch players received the limelight, the emergence of the Global Poker Index as a ranking site has come in handy. Today, well-performing players are granted a glare of publicity through poker news rooms for excellent performance in the casinos. On February 2015, the GPI disseminated a list of 300 players, Argentinean Leo Fernandez was ranked 183rd, previously he was in the 182nd position and garnered 1857.16 points. Fernandez is not a new poker pro as he has been in the poker industry for quite some time up to now. His resume imputes he is a determined underdog who is yet to give up and has a promising career ahead of him.

His earliest covered event was in 2008 when he plunged into the World Series of Poker $2,500 NLHE Six-Handed where he finished in the 13th place to take home $19,086. The next year saw him venture into the PokerStars.net LAPT $5,200 Main Event in Mar del Plata where he placed 6th for $63,520. The following year in 2010, he resurged in the PokerStars.net LAPT Main Event in Florianopolis where he ranked 41st to garner $4,619. Later on the same year he joined the PokerStars.net EPT Main Events, first in Barcelona where he placed 36th to walk away with €15,000 and in London where he finished 93rd for £9,000. Fernandez was to be spotted in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,000 High-Roller where he finished runner up for a whacking $544,925 in 2011. (more…)
