Leo Fernandez resume depicts he is among the best from his Argentinean backyard

Unlike the conventional poker era when only the top-notch players received the limelight, the emergence of the Global Poker Index as a ranking site has come in handy. Today, well-performing players are granted a glare of publicity through poker news rooms for excellent performance in the casinos. On February 2015, the GPI disseminated a list of 300 players, Argentinean Leo Fernandez was ranked 183rd, previously he was in the 182nd position and garnered 1857.16 points. Fernandez is not a new poker pro as he has been in the poker industry for quite some time up to now. His resume imputes he is a determined underdog who is yet to give up and has a promising career ahead of him.

His earliest covered event was in 2008 when he plunged into the World Series of Poker $2,500 NLHE Six-Handed where he finished in the 13th place to take home $19,086. The next year saw him venture into the PokerStars.net LAPT $5,200 Main Event in Mar del Plata where he placed 6th for $63,520. The following year in 2010, he resurged in the PokerStars.net LAPT Main Event in Florianopolis where he ranked 41st to garner $4,619. Later on the same year he joined the PokerStars.net EPT Main Events, first in Barcelona where he placed 36th to walk away with €15,000 and in London where he finished 93rd for £9,000.
